Where are the Glyconutrients Research Papers?

I've searched for glyconutrients research and didn't come up with much. Everywhere I read I here the same repetitive story about how the medical community has proven our bodies use eight different sugars to heal and communicate. I've also read that there are over 20,000 articles and research papers written on the subject. These studies prove that the sugars can help with fatal disease like cancer or diabetes but the studies have still lacked to surface. Where are these studies? Where is the proof that these sugars can actually improve someone's health when they contract one of these horrible diseases?
